7/8's risers.
Hello. Anyone here using 7/8's risers or 22.2mm ..I've looked all over the net and had no luck..can anyone steer me in the right direction ? Thanks.

7/8th is typically the clamp diameter on BMX bars. mountain bike stems and bars are typically 25.4 or 31.8 so you are going to have a hell of a time trying to find a riser bar in 7/8. you may have some luck looking for a micro or mini bar designed for younger bmx riders, although they are meant for really light weight riders. |
Look for older steel risers. I've got two pairs of Bontrager Crow-Bars in steel (one yellow and one black) that are both 7/8" clamp. They have a goofy little crossbar in between, but otherwise are pretty cool. Look around, you'll find something similar.
The cro-mo DMR Wingbars are also 7/8" clamp. They have like 3.5" of rise and weigh a TON though. |
