What size tires to you run on it? what do you guys think of the frame?

i have enjoyed riding mine very much, got it back in april...i run 23s on it right now and i am thinking about putting some winter tires on it soon so i will probably go with 35s, supposedly the frame can fit 38s and fenders but i haven't tried

I've got mine set up for cross now, so 35's. I love the bike so much.

how does it work for cross? are you running single speed or fixed? brakes?

I wub my steamroller, have used everything from 23c road tires to 32c cross tires. Currently its got two brakes, drop bars and is 42x18 SS.

I love it. It can do anything.

I haven't raced yet. Next week is going to be the maiden voyage.

But to get ready for the race, I've taken it on the local single track a decent bit and it's handled well enough. Geometry is a bit tight for off-roading, but for my first few cross races, it should probably work fine. I've got it set up single speed with front and rear brakes.

I love mine. Its my favorite bike i've ever purchased just cause of how comfy it rides and the versatility of it. I'm currently running 32s fixed just for the comfort of low PSI but I run 25s all the time since we don't get much snow/ice here in TX.

I run 32c Vittoria Randonneurs. I love my Steamroller!! The frame is tough as hell and the geometry feels better than any other bike I've ridden.

I've been running mine like this: http://velospace.org/node/8838 but with flat bars and a cheap saddle for cross races. It's awesome.

Although, I have been thinking about selling the frame/and or complete bike to fund a geared cross build, I'd rather have both, but I'm not sure I can justify three bikes...

all this steamroller love it's great...i am looking at mine right now and i can't wait to put some larger tires on it after reading all the posts here
