There was a post regarding the Folsom not to long ago. Couldn't find it, but remember it had so/so opionions, give it a search.

Del Norte looks good. I love the shades of gray.

I like the Del Norte. It's my commuter bike. Solid and kind of a cool brand. I make it a bit uncool since I have fenders and a rear rack...

fenders and a rack are functional, especially on a commuter...nothing is cooler than functionality:thumb:

swobo is awesome I think, and are comparable to alot of other bikes. del norte and sanchez are very cool.

My former roommate has the sanchez. It's a good road fixed bike, the geo is really stable.

I like the Folsom, but it's just WAY too expensive for what it is. $100 less and I think it would be worth it.

I took the Otis for a ride around the block, and I was unimpressed. It felt kind of dead, and I wasn't really feeling the coaster brake. I'd like to ride the Dixon.

I heard they're the same as the Pista.

have a Del Norte

I ditched the awful bars and brakes. put on nice brs 500 brakes. great hill training/all around beater

wacky, functional and cheap.

You heard wrong... unless you are being sarcastic. In which case you heard right!

sanchez and pista are practically the same thing

bradenCBC 11-04-08 12:37 PM

Sure in the sense that ALL cro-mo fixed gear bikes between $600 and $900 are practically the same thing.

TheSodaJerk 11-04-08 02:26 PM

Yea, Im digging the folsom but it seems a little expensive for what it is. 26lb alum coaster bike? What exactly are you paying $500 for aside from the pretty clean style?
