UPDATE: I don't think I do anymore. I read a little about dish and O/C hubs and I don't think there would really be any dish with the S3X hub. If I'm interpreting this drawing correctly there is less than a millimeter difference side to side.
EDIT: Anyone want to confirm my conclusion for me?

tramnineteen - you got it.
an 8/9/10-speed rear wheel has flanges that are unequal distances from the centerline of the hub. the nondriveside spokes go 'out' from the rim toward the hub, but the driveside spokes just go 'down' - therefor an OC-drilled rim lines up the spokeholes with the different angles at which the spokes enter the rim.
but a singlespeed rear wheel has pretty even flanges. the nondriveside and the driveside being nearly equal there's no need for an OC-drilled rim.

New wheelset. I posted this in the picture thread a week or so ago.

SO, I'm planning some updates/upgrades to my bike and I want some input. PLEASE let me know what you think of the bike as is and my planned changes.
ANYWAY, planned changes:
Sturmey Archer S3X hub Black
Velocity Aerohead O/C rim Black Non-Machined
Black spokes for new rear wheel
Cable housing routed with clips along the top tub drive side. (bright green, for shifting)
Dia-Comp Shot Lever Black
Brooks B17 Saddle (black)
Tektro Bar-End Brake Lever also routed to the front brake using a problem solvers cable doubler. (anyone know of a cheaper cable doubler?)

Defiantly, looks far too busy. Needs to be "cleaned up". Also, what about the letters is good looking? I vote: nothing.
Vixtor got it right. See below.
Yeah, I had just painted the frame when I took those photos. It has since been returned.

Removing the reflector amount is on my 'to do list' but maybe I should see if I can mount of opti-cube on there to give it purpose.

I would have only done the colored tires if you could get the rims clean because it would have been a lot of black but if the decals stay the black tire does too. If you could have removed the decals I would have suggested something like this:
Got somethin' to say? *bobs head back and forth like Aretha Franklin*
Just kidding

Yeah, I figured they might do that, and it would drive me crazy too so nevermind.
