For some reason it looked a lot bigger then that. I was thinking it was like a 23ish. Maybe the hub makes it look bigger.

First post so have at it. You can't really see but it has a beautiful white/blue sparkle in the yellow. Found the frame out in the trash in the street last year. Paint job on cranks/risers is kinda ghetto, Sugino/Nitto on the menu soon as I find the time. Rides like a beast all the same.

with a different stem and bars I think it's a sweet bike. Great trash find. Also the seat angle is a little forward

That's like finding a once-bitten eclair. You don't waste something like that.

Straight up, in the trash, pretty dirty, headset was shot but it was still...a non-dinged Reminton in the trash. Was riding my C'dale BBoy at the time and rode home with the Reminton in hand, no way I was going to risk going back for it. Not so much these days but 15 years ago there used to be CRAZY trash stories here, you could basically pick up anything you need/furnish an apt. from the trash. Found a Roland Space Echo tape delay unit 4 or 5 years back, synths, all kindsa stuff.
Go figure...I ain't complaining tho.

It seems strange to me to be running a low spoke count wheelset on a bike with risers. Also the stem looks like it came off a dept store bike.

Other than that, I like it.

Same kind of person who would gank it from someone and strip it clean of all of the "good" components.

Wheels are flip-flop and black, seemed like a good idea but never even bought a freewheel. Stem is Nitto, risers Ghetto...stem esp. slightly dictated by 26.8 tube size and being a bit skint at the time. Open to any ideas for sure.
Abs. not 'ganked', welcome to Tokyo garbage > some rich-kid/part-timer/older person moving apt. etc must have binned it, it happens here. People compensate for tiny living space and hell job-life by buying stuff they don't really need so feel less attached to it I guess.
Saddle's Selle Italia eXplorer, deadstock, leather with some kind of funky mini-suspension dealie going on under there.

Seriously. I don't like that the only response I can muster to that is "what the hell, man?"
