Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? It's got gears and no brakes ... or is there a coaster brake in that hub?
Are you sure it's fixed?

Disc brakes. I missed them. I was looking for the levers and am guessing they're hiding behind the bars.

It's been a long night. Upcoming exams are getting to me. Some barsteward's drunk all the wine and I'm damned sure it's not me, must've been the cat ... umm ... what other excuses can I come up with.

Haha, yeah.

Their bikes are strangely tempting! There is something almost Kitsch about them!

This one reminded me a little of the Fuji Obey, with it's GOOOOLLLD bare knuckle track drops, Gold aero (track looking) seatpost and the Brooksish leather saddle. That is why I see it as FG clone, even if it is not FG.

Maybe I should buy one!!!!

やだ! ださい! 違う!
I love it, noonoo I hate it! Argh!

They just look like they have no idea what they're doing.

I had a buddy who showed me a Chinese manufacturer's catalog, that had off the shelf frames you could slap a logo on, and there was a 29er frame with an eccentric bottom bracket AND track ends. This kind of reminds me of that. Just throw everything against the wall and see what sticks.

I do love the logo tho!

so, disc brakes and gears and a road geometry. but yet no road drops or hoods? I wouldnt want to ride a road bike with track drops - that's not comfortable nor does it serve any purpose. whats the point?

I noticed those too. I have about 10 sets of those out in my bike junk box. They have the chainrings riveted on with rivets made to look like allen bolts

Do not knock it too much. After all America came up with the Stingray and other very silly bike designs.
