From what I've read, the Redline Monocog has 110mm rear spacing instead of the standard 135mm for MTBs. Could you use a hub like this Sovos hub to make it into a fixed gear?

Yeah. JensonUSA also had a Redline Hub/Wheel combo for said MonoCog.

I thought the Redline hub was just a freewheel, not a fixed... no?

A thread is a thread is a thread. You wouldn't have the luxury of a proper track lockring.

Soooo beautiful. I was thinking of doing that exact same thing, in fact I think I started a thread with this same title a while ago. I decided instead to look at the IRO Highlander. It already comes with a fixed/fixed hub so you don't need to buy anything but a cog and lockring. and it only costs $500 complete.

The problem with that MonoCog on eBay is that (I emailed him) he put 700c wheels on a frame meant for 26" wheels. The existing cantilever studs are useless (although the ad doesn't say so) unless you get some kind of Paul either V or cantilever brakes meant for wheels that are a different size than your frame. He came right out and said through email to me that those brakes were pretty expensive.
