it's a pursuit bike.

i understand that. but saying "THIS WOULD BE AWESOME FOR A FIXED GEAR CONVERSION!!!!" makes my back hurt already.

The seller might be an idiot but that's still an awesome bike
I would buy it if I was in Dallas and owned a 24" front road wheel
Also, delorean, it's a time-trial bike... pursuit bikes are for track.

it's strange. super long toptube and no braze-ons or road type brake bridge.

doesn't seem to be a cobbled together road frame.

The real point of a triple triangle is the same at Hetchins funny looking stays. Back in the early days of racing, logo's weren't allowed on bikes being used competitively. If however your bikes look completely unique, even without logos, well it's free advertising.

This is an odd sentiment repeated in this thread as the one true reason why triple triangle designs exist. While it may be partly true, I still haven't heard anyone chime in that with a triple triangle the seat can be further back over the rear wheel, similar to the effect of a curved seat tube or a cutout in an aero seat tube. You can get a much more compact and aggressive geometry this way of course which could suitable for track, pursuit and other frames depending on how you do it.
