Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? FTP project

Hello.

Here's my next build. I'll have to wait until after Xmas to start buying parts. I 'm excited!

Ooo, nice frame. I'd like one of those to replace my current race bike.

Are you going track or tarck with the build?

Had one of those '07s. Very light, nimble frame. Fork rake isn't terribly steep, and since the forks on '07s were drilled, you could rock those on the road. Good all-rounder for the velodrome or fixed gear training. Shy away from the stock FSA cranks they shipped with. Lots of problems with the chainring-spider-crankarm. Loose screws everywhere.

I don't think the stem flows with anything else. It kind of sticks out like a sore thumb. The saddle too. But w/e it's not my bike. I like the red paint job.

I took the saddle off my other bike because I don't have another atm that's as comfortable to ride.

<update> Found WTB saddle to use and put the B17 back on the original bike. Need another wheelset.
