stock Langster no bar spin capability internet check

I have a Langster Las Vegas ed. and I just bought some flat bars from Soma... I took the brakes off and come to find out, my tire hits the down tube when I spin the bars... How lame ya know?

cbfight 12-06-08 11:19 PM

Just lay the fork out on your drive way and have a pass at it with your car.

Nah mang you're thinking about the older old langsters. If you flatten out your soda can bike's frame it will barspin

miahmiah 12-06-08 11:59 PM

lol... cars

NotSoProjectPat 12-07-08 12:36 AM

the city edition langsters have carbon forks, amigos

juggleaddict 12-07-08 01:02 AM

all langsters have carbon forks u.u

that video is hilarious btw

sounds like you forgot to check the bread for mold before you toasted it : P
the langster has road bike geometry as well . . . not sure if that's the specific problem. . . but it could be. why do you need to barspin a langster anyway, all the hipsters are already mad at you for riding one, why try to fit in with a bike that doesn't fit with the "in" crowd? (yes, this is semi-sarcastic)

j3ffr3y 12-07-08 08:25 AM

get a 650c front wheel if you _NEED_ to do barspinzzz
otherwise just be happy with your bike as is

um to bend carbon, all you do is heat it up with a blowtorch, then it folds like a sparton frame.

iamthenoise 12-07-08 08:56 PM

langsters have special edition carbon forks, bendable by a patented carrunover technology. just run it over, and post pics

mkoj 12-07-08 08:58 PM

rearwheel spins are gonna be all the rage soon.

26'' front wheel has the same 100mm spacing you need.

hah they'd make a killing if they made those in 700

I have two brakes on my fixed gear... Left the rear on because I was going to install my freewheel on the flip flop, but never got around to it. I figure two can come in handy if I start riding some big hills, but that hasn't happened either.

i can't even tell if people are being sarcastic anymore...this is either a brilliant post or a facepalm. this time the interwebs haz gone too far.

K_phomma 12-08-08 01:27 AM

To make this even more complicated, let me just tell you that I have one track bike with a front brake, and another one without a brake, and the last one does barspinzzz with a 650c on the front.

Now you decide whether I was being serious or sarcastic.
