Help me decide on bars...

So right now I have an 89 Schwinn world sport with original bars chopped and flipped. I am getting a Kilo TT for Christmas which comes with the road bars. The shop here in town has some Profile Stoker TT bull horns.

Right now I love my chopped and flipped Schwinn bars, I am just wondering if they are heavy? I would weigh them but I don't feel like re taping if I decide to leave them on the Schwinn. This is one option to swap these with the Kilo TT bars.

Another option is to chop and flip the Kilo TT bars. Would this be any better or worse than the Schwinn bars?

Last option is to spend the money on the Stokers. Will these be considerably lighter? They are a little longer which honestly I do not like but I could get used to it. My guess is these are aluminum? Where as the Schwinn are steel and the Kilo bars are ??? I am pretty sure the Kilos are 26, the stokers are 26 and the Schwinns are 25.4? But I can make a shim.

Any advice?

If its only going on a kilo, I wouldnt be that concerned with weight. Dont get me wrong, I have a kilo frame and I like it, but its not like saving a few ounces in bar weight difference is going to mean the world to you. Use whatever bars feel best on the bikes you have

Oh definitely if it's not much I don't care. I just wanted to be sure it's nothing drastic. I got a thomson stem and seatpost for pretty cheap that will be going on so I will be saving some weight there.

chop the kilo bars.
'tis what I did and I like 'em.
they will probably weigh less that way than the schwinn.

i have a pista and i have road drops, track dops, flip & chop road bars. I Just put on some riser bars today, and they are the most comfortable thing ever! If you are going to be riding on the roads, use bullhorns or risers (and a front brake!)
