Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I hope this thread isn't flagged as off-topic. I find many of the folks up in here to be quite helpful and insightful in their responses, and I'm genuinely curious as to what you guys do.

full time college student majoring in history. part time behind the scenes theater worker at my school's auditorium. best job ever, besides the fact that when there are no events there is no work so the end of each quarter my hours dwindle.

I graduate from SJSU with my bachelor's in nursing on Saturday. For the next two months I'll be studying for boards... I've been living off student loans and I'm selling my car to pay rent (edit: and buy a new frame) next month.

"Apprentice Tire Technician"

Basically a step up from guys at your tire store that mount and balance wheels/tires all day long... I just deal with customers a bit more.
