Geekhouse Frames?

Custom frame prices not bad. Anybody got one? Input?

Guvna 12-26-08 06:20 PM

very competitive price indeed. I think step one would be finding out how much it would cost to have it lugged.

rrooster 12-26-08 07:05 PM

If I weren't a college student and had lots of money to blow on things I didn't need, a geekhouse rockcity would be high on that list. ::sigh::

Guvna 12-26-08 07:23 PM

Don't think he's looking for a rockcity. They offer fully custom frames as well..

the pope 12-26-08 07:57 PM

For that price, you can get a custom gunnar.

where?

beethaniel 12-27-08 01:42 AM

geekhouse's are awesome, if I had the extra cash.......drool.

if I was to spend some money on a custom frame, I would probably get something that was a little more practical, Im a form follows function type of person. I like the Broakland/Hunter/Jack Ryan type of bikes, but Geekhouse bikes are fricken' awesome.

Yeah, its been good to me. What did you major in? I'm a senior photo major.

Gyeswho 12-27-08 11:33 AM

I don't think it's a good buy only because pursuit geo for the streets isn't very useful?

I don't think you need to get a pursuit frame if you go custom. Their standard track bike is a a pursuit, but I think the idea of the custom frame is that you can change the geometry and anything else.

It's not a true pursuit geo. It just has a forward slopping top tube and a short head tube, like the Affinity Lo Pro's.
He also never said where it was gonna be ridden.

Nifty. Sometimes I envy engineering majors, mostly because my dad's an engineer and comes from a family of engineers, but I inherited none of the math/science skills.

cobrabyte 12-27-08 02:13 PM

science & math....college? wha?

this THREAD is becoming a geekhouse ;)

Marty, the guy who runs Geekhouse, has a degree in philosophy. Go figure, hehe.

Drexel's alright but you've got to have rich parents to go there! We common folk get stuck up in no man's land!

I'm on scholarship, haha. Thats why I'm at Drexel and not NYU. Actually, since I'm from Florida, Temple would be about the same cost I think, :p

Back to the geekhouse, though:
