H/bar for Fixed Mtn.Bike

Well, there sure has been alot of talk about handlebars on the SS/ Fixed forums lately...

Which brings me to my own h/bar question. I'm building up an '88 Peugeot oldschool lugged and fillet-brazed mtn bike as a fixed-gear "ice-racer" with studded tires which is almost done except for brakes. I was given a heat-treated Nitto (Specialized) flat bar and I was wondering if I should stick with that or is something else more "fashionable"? I also have some bar-ends - should I add those too or should leave them off? I would like to keep an "old-skool" look.

First off: bar ends are about as sexy as Fat Albert's ass.

The flat bars sound cool.

Function before fashion. You want something that works and fits. If it looks cool too? bonus.

BTW, Nitto makes nice stuff. If it works, use it.
