H/bar for Fixed Mtn.Bike
Well, there sure has been alot of talk about handlebars on the SS/ Fixed forums lately...
Which brings me to my own h/bar question. I'm building up an '88 Peugeot oldschool lugged and fillet-brazed mtn bike as a fixed-gear "ice-racer" with studded tires which is almost done except for brakes. I was given a heat-treated Nitto (Specialized) flat bar and I was wondering if I should stick with that or is something else more "fashionable"? I also have some bar-ends - should I add those too or should leave them off? I would like to keep an "old-skool" look. |
First off: bar ends are about as sexy as Fat Albert's ass.
The flat bars sound cool. |

BTW, Nitto makes nice stuff. If it works, use it. |
