Forks or Dropouts?

So I'm looking for input here, I have two whips in question, one is an assembled shogun frame, which I've been using to commute for a little over a year, since I retired it from road use. Racks, fenders, 46/17, bullhorns, front and rear brakes. The second is a 2008 madison frame which I've recently finished stripping the paint off of, crazy chrome now, still have all the parts so when i get motivated to put it back together. Both bikes are the same size, and I'm contemplating wether I want to sell the madison frame and use the proceeds to cop some new tires, maybe brakes, maybe handlebars for the shogun. OR I could decommission the shogun for a future project, use some of it's parts and start rolling the madison for my daily rider. All things considered, the two are practically interchangeable, I'll probably use the madison's fix/free hub either way so I can pick my poison depending on the amount of snow/ice. The gist of my question is this, the shogun has dropouts, and the madison clearly has track fork ends, is one inherently better than the other for commuting? Thoughts, opinions, pithy remarks?

No

^ What they said. And you really should have just left most of the other information out.

I'm guessing the Shogun has fender eyelets and the Madison doesn't (?). That alone would seem to make the Shogun a better snow/ice commuter option. Depending on your fender setup, it may also be easier to get the wheel in and out with the dropouts as opposed to the fork ends.
