Does anyone know what this track frame is?....

I've already searched as much as I can and still have not shed any light about this frame.

IF any of you geniuses know anything about this frame, let me know!

The reason why I ask is because some person wants to trade this frame here for my friends frame. The guys frame is a Cita, Titanium based frame. Personally, I've never even heard of it.

And another thing, do any of you think my friend should go on ahead with the trade. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?! Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

that vinka is probably worth around 1000 on the street. so i'd research that brand "cita" and see what it would cost to build that bike

also if it was custom the measurements might be off =\

i think it's a really nice looking Ti frame, the fork looks like a road fork though :(

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/1006294209.html (it's cl, so I personally don't know what to believe there. I'm dumb, so i haven't heard of Cita either. Google yields few results.)

http://njs-keirin.blogspot.com/ (long list of kalavinka frames, all with prices around or higher than that cl post)

This is just some reference for you. Sorry not a lot of help.

Yeah, that fork really throws it off.

Yeah, I let the guy know that what the frame cost nearly twice as his brand new. And the frame is basically new, it's been used once. I've searched everywhere for a cita and no luck. This is the only thing I can find of it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fhaione/3190227853/

Ti frame for the highest steel tubing quality and craftmanship. Hmmmmm

As long as the frame fits, it looks nice. It's certainly well built. I'd probably ask for $150 or so in cash in addition to the frame because that fork does NOT belong on that frame.

Also, that frame is nicked to hell in the clearcoat. Given, it'd be very easy to get it re-cleared, it's annoying. I am assuming the Kalavinka is perfect. So now I'd say NO GO based on how scratched the Cita is.

Plus that vinka is dammmmmmmmmmn sehkzy.

REMspeedwagon 01-25-09 09:53 PM

That Cita would be a nice frame and all..
sans the forks but the Kalavinka is worth much much more.

yea from my google search it states that cita is a taiwan based company who made those frames during the 90s.... so i still say that the vinka is worth ALOT more than the cita although it's a Ti frame.
