Hello,

This is my first post. I usually just browse, but i may need some thoughts. I came across a website that lets you build your own fixie. I should say customize. For $350 you can get a fixed gear with a flip flop hub. You can customize the colors of your wheel set, chain, frame, seat, handlebars. It seems like a legit thing. And if you are looking to get into riding fixed, this seems pretty cheap.

Depends. Do you want a decent bike? That thing will be a little heavier than other bikes because it is High-Ten steel. The cranks are decent but the rest of the components are generic something or others.

I would point you towards bikesdirect for a cheap fixed gear of better quality.

You cant customize but you will have a better bike.

I agree with SpaceFace. There was another thread about this yesterday or so -- the thing to stay away from with inexpensive frames is high-tensile steel construction. They're excessively heavy

Agreed. And when virtually none of the components seem to have a brand...

It reminds me of the SE Draft, which one of my roommates has and it a total junker.

ehh, i think they would be ok for light use. if you are just looking to get into riding fixed, and dont expect to do too many miles, i think this would be a pretty good deal.

i personally prefer all my bikes to have drop bars though, which doesnt seem to be on option on these bikes...
