Soma Rush build specs/general dropout question

Somafab.com describes the frame as "Tange Prestige heat-treated CrMo steel; butted CrMo rear end." What does it mean to have a butted rear end. I know what butting is, but I don't know what it means in this context.
Edit: Nevermind the dropout question...figured it out.
