Bianchi Pista, KHS Flite 100, or a Langster?

Which one people? I am trying to decide....help me out if you can... What do you think would be a better commuter bike... The only one I have not ridden is the Bianchi.

I like the Raleigh Rush Hour too! It seems like that should be on your list as well as the IRO Mark V.

IRO always gets the most votes whenever anyone asks such a question on here though. so perhaps it doesn't matter WHAT is on your list Still I would ride the Raleigh, and the Bianchi if you can.

Pista is the only one with true track geometry. Not important if you're commuting, but you are buying a track bike.

Depending on the size frame you get, you're going to have toe overlap with the Pista and the KHS. Not sure if you care...

i have a pista with stock rake and no toe overlap. pista is ok for commuting but it has track geometry so that is basically why i went with it.

IRO's wheelset is better than the stock wheelset on those bikes, it seems.

I know a guy who's had a pista for a bit over a year. the wheels started to self destruct, breaking spokes and whatnot, while it was in his garage.

jay you may be right, though i believe the colnago fork appears more raked because it's straight and therefore set at a slacker angle than the headtube, whereas the stock fork continues at the same angle before kicking out.

pretty hard to say, i guess, and i don't own a protractor. the tire is about 2cm from the downtube.

i do know that on the 55 with 170 i had overlap with this fork; 165 changed that

IRO, great all around bike. awsome commuter and can still be used for the track. better looking, imo, than the pista and better wheels. Plus Tony runs a great company is a great guy to do business with.

Soooo... yeah anothe vote for IRO.

Any reason it's not on your list?

imagine yourself on the bike, your left foot is forward, you try to turn right the wheel bangs into your foot.

this is an issue with track bikes because they're not designed for sharp turns, and their wheelbases are very short
