Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Forum New Guys Question

Hey all,

Sorry to be a newbie but I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture. Could be the beer, could be the crack....who knows. Can someone PM me and shed some light.

I hate being a newbie.

No need to hate being a newbie!

You write your post, then you go to the bottom of your screen and click on "Manage attachments". When that screen pops up, you browse your computer to find the picture you want to post. Click "Upload". When the screen shows that it has been uploaded, click "close this window". Now you just click on the button that says "Submit reply". I don't think that you can preview your post when you are posting pictures.

Hope I got it all right.

Welcome to Bikeforums.

I think you can preview your post but you don't see your picture.

there is also the image tag for when you find an image out there on the webternet.

it goes a little something like this:

[ img ]URL of image goes here[ /img ]

just like that, except without the spaces.
