Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? surly hub shhhball question

does anyone know a good site online for getting a _36_hole surly new hub in fixed/free with the 120mm spacing? i can find the 32hole ones all day, but no 36. the guy at surly swears they make 'em. also, are the fixed/fixed hubs suitable for use with a freewheel on one side?

i'd like to order one at my lbs, but they've been very sketchy about actually getting me what i ordered recently.

If you don't want to have your lbs order, have Sheldon Brown at Harris order it(www.sheldonbrown.com/harris)

And yes, you can run a freewheel on one side of the fixed/fixed
