Frame options?
Ok so im thinking about building a new bike and wanted to see what options i have for frames. So right now i ride a 53 kilo tt but im 6'3" with kinda short legs. So the 53 is comfortable but the new bike i want a frame with a lil bit longer top tube than the kilo but the same maybe a lil longer seat tube length but not much. Any suggestions would be great.

Dude, if you're 6'3" you need a MUCH bigger bike unless your legs are freakishly (like disproportionately) short. A 53cm bike would be for someone around 5'5"ish.
(For comparison, I'm 6'2", wear pants with a 30-32" inseam (not long legged either), and ride a 61cm Messenger comfortably (the 63.5cm Schwinn is probably a little big.)) If I were you, I'd go to the bike shop and try some bikes in the 58-61cm range and see how they fit. |

I think it's safe to say everyone's proportions are going to be different. I used to ride a 60cm Kilo (I am 6'2") and it felt uncomfortably long. I made it work for about a year until I decided to go to an actual shop and try out some different bikes. I am now riding a 57cm Soma Rush frame and it feel perfect.

People need to stop using ST measurement as general sizing. TT is just as or even more important in terms of sizing.

The 53 actually fits me close to the same as my merckx road bike which is a 56cm and fits me perfect. My question was pretty much which frame has similar specs to the kilo i have only with a hair longer top tube. I really don't think people on their computers can tell me my bike is to small since everyone is different. i really want a frame i can ride with risers but the kilo puts me a lil to upright for my liking. thanks for the help.
