Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? My trusty steed
Edit-
I have some gold noah's arc bars on now and I have added a water bottle.
I also put a fatter rear tire on recently. I will post more current pictures soon.
Much love for the steamrollers.

Grizzler, what tire size are you running? I was wondering if the Steamrollers could fit a 32 or 35mm tire with brake calipers. Also, the bike looks great...good choice in parts.

TheRealNicola– I dig your steamroller!

Thanks for the compliments guys... it's a really great bike for getting around.

Buck65– those tires are supposedly 37c (they seem more like 35) and there is plenty of room in the caliper still which is a tektro538.

Awesome, thanks for the follow up! Nice to see some dirt and meaty tires on that bike.

My almost complete CreamCycle

Hi guys, after a few years of lusting over this site, FGG & some others, I've finally built my own Fixed gear/ Single speed! I absolutely LOVE it! The only thing that's going to change is that my mechanic is getting a new fork as he accidentally cut this one too short. I've got 30MM of Brown & Silver Chris King spacers (to match the brown Chris King headset) that will go between the headset & stem. It's hard to tell but that's the green Brooks Special with copper rails.

Cleaned up the ol' Steamroller yesterday for the first time in months. Forgot how beautiful it was without all of the dust and mud. Also, made a set of flop n' chops out of the stock drop bars. Been wanting to try something other than risers for a while. Thinking about trying some Panaracer Pasela 35's and need a little higher gearing... Maybe a 17t out back.

Thanks man. They're WTB Interwolf 700x38's. The casing measures 35mm and 37mm outer knob to outer knob.

I actually bought it from Universal Cycles website because I got a ridiculous deal on it and no tax. I had to wait a long time for it in the mail though and of course no free shop tune ups.
