Suggest some toe clips please, and help with sizing...

Hey

I'm set with pedals (new Campy knock-offs) but I'm having a hard time finding some toe-clips that accept double straps and don't cost a zillion bucks. Also, if I wear a size 8 1/2 - 9 shoe, do you suggest I go with size M or L? Sorry for the newbie questions but these is my first time running clips (usually run eggbeaters and MTB shoe).

I'm also proceeding under the assumption that double straps are better / safer for street riding - true or false?

Thanks all.

I have the standard MKS clips, they don't take doubles, but i have about the same size feet and the Medium clips feel right to me.
Here are some double clips, I have been thinking about switching soon

I have an All City full pedal setup with doubles and like them for the most part.

Power Grips. Hands down - minimal toe overlap, maximum fit customization (unless you wear timberlands)

I got the black anodized ones. They scratch kinda easy but ehh. They're pretty stiff and fit both my Adidas hi-tops and my Nike Dunks but also fit my Puma driving-esque shoes. I like them but I'm not sure if I want to keep them. I may go back to clipless to be honest.

MKS steel Clips and a good quality single strap is all you really need.
Double straps are nice but the lower priced options are just garbage.
I would guess you would be a size M in the toe clips.

i also use the mks steel clips with soma doubles (because they're not absurdly expensive). i also wear a size 9 vans and use the medium size clips, even though mks recommends using large for that shoe size.
