Removing powdercoat
 
Okay heres the situation i have a set of deep v's that are powdercoated but i want to remove the powdercoating. How do i go about doing this? Any help is appreciate.

I know you can prep them like anything else. Sand it, all that stuff, and then paint. I dunno about removing it completely. Good luck. I'm very curious as well.

put the wheels up f/s on CL and then you buy new color wheels.

I used gasket remover to get powdercoat off of a frame. Worked great and a can of it was about $6 or so.

I would, but i was on a ride and some guy and his mountain bike decided to run into my back rim and now i have what look like tiger stripes on the back rim. So i doubt anyone would buy em
