Kilo TT Brakes
 

I just bought the Kilo TT about a week ago, and I was wondering what brake I should get for it. I've think I want the tektro, but even then I don't know what type of tektro brake. I was just wondering if I could have a little help picking out the model and all that.

yes it should work but you're better off getting the bikeisland ones already posted. By the time you pay for shipping on this one caliper and buy a cable housing and cable, plus a lever you would have paid way more then the whole kit already posted that told you 100% would definitely work AND its priced with free shipping!

the 7 series tektro should be a better brake than the bikeisland 3 series tektro. having used the tektro r310, i would actually try ebay for a used set of 105s or ultegras.

based on what? I have both, the 3 series that came with my kilo TT Pro which is the kit on sale from bikeisland, and the 7 series on my Road bike and they do the same job just as efficiently and safely. Brakes differ in weights and if they come with replaceable pad cartridges, at least with tektro it does. 105 brakes don't clamp any better than the tektros either, they just come with better brake pads.

Any Tektro brake + Kool-stop pads=Better braking than any high end shimano counterpart.
