Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Hey I had a crazy idea what if a city made it a law that you had to have a brake, but you didn't want one so you wanted to put the brake somewhere crazy as kinda a "F U" to the man?

That'd be crazy.

after fixing the brakes for this camper and since it didnt have shifters or a chain anyway, i did the maths to figure out an easy ratio and threw a chain on to complete my first ever conversion in under two minutes.

its a neat light and lugged rixe frame made in west germany with the olympic rings on it. of course, a lot of work and adjustment are still needed, but it rides very well.

Fixed it for ya.

I'm not sure, adriano's frame size seems close to TT's.

The frame does look ridiculously small....

Is adriano a female? I still dont know if everyone was joking or not when he/ she posted her feminine hand operating his/her bell on his/her kilo.

I think adriano might be a girl, I mean, small size frames, 650 wheels, feminine hands...I don't know.

Another SSFG mystery yet to be solved.

Fixed a few things...swapped the tubular wheelset for a clincher wheelset and got a 21T cog so my ratio is pretty sane. Still need to get some Jitensha or porteur bars and a road stem for commuter duty.
