Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Here she is. I finally snapped picture of her.

70's Falcon San Remo Frame
Flip-flop hub with an 18T on the fixed side.
160mm cranks 44T
running the stock centerpull front brake with old school suicide levers

I heart her, though she really needs a new saddle.

I really think your bars could be a little narrower, that must be like driving a goddamn schoolbus!

yeah the saddle did lose its tension, brooks sent me out new hardware to fix it,
apparently its been happening regularly that the bolts are just snapping.

In regards to the bars, they are super nippy and responsive, and im happy with em this way, considering i spend my week trying not to be killed by mirrors and the likes they suit me fine. in fact, i find it harder to ride wide bars after getting used to these

Said the guy with the 14" risers Just messing with you. Do you still have your Fit? I recognize your name from over at Fitfreak.net. I rarely hang there anymore, but I still have my BOM Fit...
