Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? maybe it does. but why ruin a road frame when you could have bought a frame with track end or a bike with horizontal dropouts?

where are your straps? it is pointless to have clips on the pedals, but no straps.

(also, those white things you put on the end of the handlebars are called grips)

Keep the brake on. adjust it so it does not hit the rim.

That Tange fork is actually nice for what it is. Strong, relatively light (compared to other replacement forks) and decent price. I have one on my road bike.

I'm currently in progress of building up a bare knuckle. I've decided to sell it before it was even finished but it looks pretty damn good as its coming together. Check it out.

I had the frame and fork media blasted and powder coated red.

I also had the Miche Supertype seatpost and 3t Mutant stem powder coated white

I got a great deal on a Campy Pista record crankset and bottom bracket....

Just add aerospokes...soon to be painted white.

I've still got to paint my aerospokes white, put on my red bar tape, put on my toshi straps and add a front tire. Once its all together, its FOR SALE!!!

Holy balls that bike is a ****ing piece of ****. I pity the hipster that buys it because it won't be long before I find it and take a U-Lock to it.

Who said anything about a 650 front. Those are 700c. Sometimes if you take a picture from a slight angle the front looks smaller but I don't think that photo has that effect. I think it's just the fact that there's no tire on the front.

And as far as the double aerospoke... I dunno, i got a deal for the set. I like it... even though I've owned them for less than 24hrs and I'm already working on the craigslist ad.

Yea, They look HUGE in that photo. They are not that bad in person but definitely not photogenic. Maybe they will look better with tape... If not, I guess they'll be replaced.

you destroyed a nice frame. Just put a regular, silver wheelset on there to match the crank. Seriously, get some silver alex rims laced to silver formula hubs and call it a day. It will look way better than those aerospokes. You can sell the 'spokes off individually and probably get most of your money back.

Honestly, though, I think everything needs to go except for the crank and the headset.

Theres no front tire on, so it looks smaller.

Keep the aero spokes, and put on bar tape.
