Oh okay.

Here is a picture of where I lock up my bike unattended for several hours every day and the exact equipment I use to lock up said bike.

P.S. Shout-out to my fellow Torontonians!

I don't have a photo, but I use a NYC fahgetaboudit (or however you spell it) and shackle it around the rear wheel, seat tube, and the post I'm locking to. It's a really snug fit (if I don't line it up so the shackle passes through the rear wheel at just the right angle I can't get the lock closed) so this makes it just about impossible for a thief to get any tools in to disable the lock.

isn't that an 'alarm' on the condor, not intended to provide physical security?

Meepers 03-19-09 10:24 AM

^ it looks like a cheap-o cable lock they sell for snowboards and skis. made for a quick lock when you are running in the lodge. never understood those. we always had a multi tool on us when we rode. enver knew when a binding was going to get jacked up and in need of a quick fix. and with a multi tool you can snip the lock pretty quick.

For short term lock ups during the day. At night or long term, I use twine instead.

I don't have any pics, just imagine a Kryptonite U through the front triangle and front wheel My wheel's non-QR, but I just like having something there, and it takes up more space inside the U => less room to work with tools.

And getting back to the topic of this thread, the second post should read "whose."
