teal deep v's
 

anyone seen em around?

its hard to tell from pics online, or especially in a magazine how a color will look in real life.

that being the case, i still can hardly find any pics of teal deep v's online and have never seen one with my own eyes.

anybody care to post some up?

Thats really funny because I saw some outside of my school today and wondered if Velocity made those...I havent seen them before but they look awesome...http://www.velocityusa.com/downloads...l-1000x750.jpg

I think velocity calls them "Sid Blue" if I'm not mistaken.

haha ok not that i dont appreciate your comments on how awesome my wheels are going to be ;), i just dont want to seem like i was looking for reinforcement from the masses before i made my purchase. i was thinking they looked awesome myself, but just havent been able to judge on any decent pictures.

so far i have some minor mods to the drive train, as well as a stem and bar upgrade. possibly an orange velocity deep v for the front on its way for the low low price of $50, and then this teal for the rear. im worried about looking too "miami" (teal + orange) being that im from south florida, but im not going to pass up on a quality wheel at a great price just because it might not be aesthetically pleasing. (that should quell any nasty remarks from the "you just want to look at your bike" bunch. d!cks.)

once i get the wheels on, it will be picture worthy and you will be all like "oooooh wow. bienvenidos a miami"

ok thats a good point. i saw that in the catalogue, but there is BOTH teal and SID. what does the SID look like? i dont know of any colors named SID, but im no art major, either.

I think that's a major problem with velocity's color palette is that some websites call it a certain color and others something else. The sid blue I guess is something they came up with cause its in between their electric blue and the baby blue, or do they call baby blue celeste??? Damn Velocity!

we gotta get to the bottom of this!

for the record, the catalog had celeste, blue, CID blue and teal. im guessing SID is anodized?

Ahh, the one I posted looks more...bluish. The ones I saw today were a more true colored teal. Whatever the hec they call that..

Yes, they glow white

glow or shine in light? like that reflective 3m material?

ps i just went to the site and they have these black with green hoops. damn those are sick looking!

theyre reflective.

Yeah ELVS Day is what they look like in daylight and ELVS Night is what they look like at night when light hits them
