Converting cluster (not cassette) MTB to SS
I have a MTB I use for commuting, am thinking of going SS cause it's flat around here.
I use 5th gear (7spd) and the middle ring, when I hit the ever so small rises I just spin faster to get over them with ease. Any tips on how to do this easily? I'll start by just converting the rear mech to SS, then later get rid of multiple chainrings. How do I convert the cluster? can I get single screw on cogs for it? Brendon |

Depending on your dropouts, you might need a chain tensioner. Surly makes a good one but its almost 50$US.
