my new obsession: carrying stuff on my bike.

so, my most recent bike purchase meant i have my first bike rack ever, and it's presented this fantastic and fun challenge: what can't i carry?

so far, i have carried:
my violin
groceries + a 30-pack of beer
a new printer for my computer

it looked so funny, i took a picture with my crappy cameraphone:

then, i got so excited, i even started a "i carried this on my bicycle" flickr group, which i'm sure nobody will join, and that's fine, but i now have somewhere to store photos of absurd things i've carried.

on janie, i've carried 5 12-packs of beer, in the bee bag. it made stopping hard but was fun.
a few weeks ago, some local rock stars carried a grill and charcoal to the track, ~30mi, in a bob attached to a brakeless steamroller.

which leads me to my reason for posting...
what's the biggest thing you've carried? photos?
consider this a challenge. game on.

I've carried a complete bike on my bike before (well, over my shoulder, at least).

I'm still upset that we didn't get to hang out.

I pulled 4 frames and some wheels on my kiddy trailler yesterday. Parts were used to build this:

Off-topic for a second.
I was hanging out with a friend/frame builder the other day and he was telling me about this tall bike he made out of two kid's bikes. So, it's basically a normal size "tall" bike.
Just thought that was really rad.

two 12" x 24" Plates of pasta. 1 baked ziti with chicken a 1 chicken marsala. 1 12" round tin of chicken piccata, two bottles of wine, a full change of clothes, water bottle and tools. The food sat on my bullhorns in a couple interlocking plastic bags. Luckily it was only about 6 miles from the restaurant home, my drunken maneuvering didn't make me lose any food and I ate well for a week for free.

Currently at our co-op we have a bike set up to carry 2 full kegs with taps. Beer bike rules! I'll try to get a pic tonight.

Three loads of laundry, a wheelset and my regular repair kit (15mm wrench, adjustable wrench, pump, tube, multi-tool, Swiss Army knife, blinkers) in my large Bailey Works. I should really get a rack.

I once brought my gf's bike and bag to the grocery store, met up with her there and filled both bags with groceries. Then we rode home together.

Watermelons:

That's actually my dad pulling, but we alternated.
I've also used the trailler to carry bikes, most of solostyle's apartment (we did a few trips), and news papers to be recycled.

I've also carried New Years Eve Pie on a front rack.

A car rack on a rear rack.

Wheels several times, but I think everyone here has done that.

Oh man that Cemta rack rules. I've always wanted to have a bike with a front rack, and a brooks spring seat, and big ass handle bars. Something silly but fun.

No pictures, but I carried a T-Maxx radio controlled truck, nitro fuel, toolbox full of parts, on a rack extended with a piece of plywood.

I've carried lots of things. these aren't neccesarily the biggest just the ones that come immediately to mind.
At different times:

an 8' long 4x4
My son's wheelchair
my guitar
bike frame boxed for shipping
40 lb bag of salt (bonus points for doing it in icy weather?)
100ish pounds of groceries in the trailer.

Howsabout this one: Pulling 4 bags of groceries up one of the steeper hills in town in the trailer, pulling my daughters MTB with my left hand on the stem while she walked because she couldn't get it up the hill. Thank goodness for granny rings.
