float and knee pain..DOH!
It just occurred to me...during my first skids, I cranked down my right pedals super tight, on both sides..
They are the spd comaptible WTP pedals, similar to most shimano style pedals..anyways, I TOTALLY bombed on the idea that one side was float, one side was unclip tension. Anybody know which side, front or back, adjusts float? I cant seem to figure it out, although I THINK its the rear... This could CERTAINLY shed some light on my recent knee pain... randy |
uhh i dont think float is adjustable on spd-type pedals, but i could be wrong. if they're double sided pedals and there is only 2 set screws, then they are both for tension. the rear screw adjusts the tension of the clip facing up. do they make SPDs with adjustable float? you can change float by changing to different cleats too i think.....key words are 'i think'

Here's the skinny
9am - meet @ Loyola Redline stop. Crustedfish - see you there Skitbra will be a bit late (930am ish) and then we will be heading out ???..where ever. |
Damn you cats are early birds on a Sunday - provided I don't oversleep or miraculously wake up with a girl in bed next to me, I'll be there.

yet another fun ride.
From RP to Jinx, over to Yojimbos then to Urban bikes, then home. Good time. |
Sorry I didn't make it folks - really wanted to. Ended up staying out really late consoling a friend and stayed out on the South Side. Didn't make it back home in time. Next time for sure.
