After looking at both I'm pretty sure you're right. That's what the dudes at my LBS were saying as well.

they ought to fit. dont try to stick too much tape in, and dont be afraid to put some force into it.

I thought that too! Most of it is. Soma brought it to market first.

Feel the edges of the clips. The soma don't have the burs that I've seen in the "all city" copies.

As for the straps, yup the straps might be the same. Soma was first to bring affordable double strap.

I like the bike, its stiff and pretty light. Its not Fuji Track Pro light but it has potential, I'm going to put some carbon stuff on it soon. Its an XS, i'll try to post more changes....

they don't really. and yes i am putting force into it. its hard to push them in with no tape underneath at all. i just don't want to have them stuck in so much that would make rewrapping hard.

I had the same problem when I wrapped my garbage bin Modolos with Microtex. I used a file and a dremel to widen the slots between the claws, I wouldn't have got the plugs to fit otherwise.

Are these bars that you are rotating depending on the ride?
I have switched from drops to risers and now I am going to try the soma arc bar. I may just switch between the risers and arcs.

I may even cut the drops and make some horns. It's fun to have options.

Not really. I went through the same drops to risers phase as you and then decided to try these pursuit bullhorns. I guess I was just looking for something different. I just listed the drops and risers on craigslist as well. To be honest I'm actually more comfortable climbing hills with risers than I am with these Stratos but I think I'll get used to them quickly

I am digging risers a lot right now, I hear ya on climbing with them, you can get good leverage.
