Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I work at a Physics Lab at my school, and make all the experiments for all the classes. I also sit and watch people use the equipment and yell at them when they forget to wear their goggles. Sometimes I get paid to play gigs with my band, but it's rarely anything worthy. I went on tour for 2 weeks though and just got back with 600 bucks!

I am a Systems Engineer for a couple Navy applications. I love what I do, but the company is still experiencing growing pains and still making "mom & pop" decisions.

What bands have you gone out with? Any specific part of the country or all over?

When I went on tour this last two weeks with my band I wish I could have brought my bike so badly! I ended up meeting cyclists at every city we played at. Phoenix seemed to have a lot of FG/SS riders.

Awesome. I'm also a full time architecture student. I was recently laid off from my internship with an architecture firm.
