Clipless
Looking into clipless and was wondering whats the cheapest pedal/shoe combo to start with
|
Shimano M520 pedals are fine for starters (though it really depends on if you skid or have brakes), but shoes you really shouldn't skimp on, head to a few local stores and try everything on until you find some you like, and hope that they're on sale.

REI is having a sale on all shimano pedals and shoes. 25% off I think.

Cheap parts aren't good. Maybe you should ask, "What pedals and shoes are the best value for my hard earned money." I don't know the answer, but I just wanted to help you get better answers. I'd shoot for used pedals. You can usually get them for 75% down to 25% of their original retail value. Same for shoes. |
