what type of deep V is the best?

hi, i just ate it badly today! and i kinda bent my front rims kinda bad! im thinking of getting a new rim, so i was thinking of getting a deep V! so what i saw so far are the

Velocity deep-V track fixed gear wheelset - $241.82
WEINMANN DEEP-V TRACK FIXED GEAR WHEELS WHEELSET - $161.08
VUELTA Deep-V FIXED GEAR TRACK SS WHEEL SET - $159.00

well those are the only one that looks nice...or the one thats looks dependable( or so i think so,noob here )
and what u guys think about a aerospoke? please give me some good feed back on these rims and if u think u know a better one, please do tell me

and what do u guys think of getting a rear aerospoke? instead of getting the front one? cuz most of the aerospoke i've seen are in the front?

I favor Velocity, myself. Bulletproof as hell, and worth every penny.

unless you really need the deep section for some reason, i love my velocity aeroheads. they build up to be light and strong. since building it up i trued it once and haven't had to touch it since. keep in mind i do abuse it by hitting pretty bad potholes occasionally and failed attempts at wheelies that lead to my fat ass slamming it into the ground hard.

velocity are the best of those. the rest are cheaper versions that came about to undercut the price (and consequently the quality) of velocity's

as for aerospokes, they are totally for style points and heavy as hell... and if they do crack the whole wheel is shot instead of just the rim. and they are f*ckin expensive. the reason you mostly see fronts is because a) they are cheaper and b) most everyone tries to get some used, and most on the used market are geared rear wheels.

Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is having a killer deal on DT Swiss high-profile wheels. Formula hubs, rims that are as good or better than Velocities.

velocity is heavy but bulletproof and comes in a million colors. consider the DT 1.2 (also heavy & tough, black only) or the kinlin xr-300 (rebranded as ird cadence aero, much lighter & still quite strong, fairly inexpensive, black/silver/red/gold).

A lot of wheel builders I've talked to have been really unimpressed by the quality of velocity rims of late. Enough so that I'd look at something else.

I have Velocity Deep-Vs front and rear and they are amazing. So durable! Plus I got them for $60 so the deal was even sweeter!

That seems to be just for the rims. You still need spokes and hubs.

I have Vuelta Pro V's. My room mate has Weinmann's. Both are great wheel sets and have been very durable for us.

I totally agree with Velocity and their quality. I took a really bad spill with a curb and was surprised there was little to no damage on my wheel.

CHeck out thebikebiz.com - lots of sweet choices and amazingly nice guys in person.
