Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I found my timbuk2 at a t.j. maxx for 40 bucks. Carries all my stuff, keeps it dry, and was easy to customize.

End of thread. I usually don't get too excited about bags but that one I would.

thats what ive got too. with options like the mahoubar, it seems laughable that so many still use shoulder bags.

Seagull large.
It's just the right size, love the strap design. Wish I would have opted for more options though.

Yeah I know that will be weird getting used to. Should be here in a couple days, Im pretty stoked.

I didnt know Chrome had a sale bin on their website. They're selling the Metropolis Camo one for 80 bucks or something, wish that had been there a year ago

People got buy without quick-release straps for years and years and years, I think you'll be fine. On the other hand, you won't be able to whack yourself in the head with the big stupid seatbelt buckle, so Chrome's got that going for them at least.

Use it on all my trips. Seriously holds a ton.
Very comfortable. Bombproof. Waterproof.
You can reverse the strap if you want.

Citizen. I won't play the elitist card by saying I have had it for years before they were popular, I have only had it about a year and a half. I like it a lot, but it can be sorta uncomfy on my back if I have pointy objects like a camera, or not enough objects to really fill the bag up (like when I just have a water bottle and a book, which is often).

With that said, I would like a nice smaller bag, for when I only have a few small things. Suggestions? (something not Chrome)

bag

I have an Under The Weather "Flyaway" Their bags are awesome. So much storage, no rain leakage, plus you can pick any colors you want down to the thread and even velcro color. I spent some time looking at reviews and trying out some of my friends bags and it came down to Under The Weather or Seagull, they offered the best amount of space for the size, are really well made, completely customizable, and are reasonably priced. The UTW also has these straps that will allow you to hold objects that are larger than the interior space, which has come in handy many times.

check out their site: www.under-the-weather.ca
