Stolen Blue TR250

Stolen in ATLANTA.

Not my bike. I don't know the story. I do know the bike and the girl that rides it. Both are awesome. Melissa is the last person you want this sort of thing to happen to. She's one of the most generous people.

BLUE TR250s are uncommon on the track, even more uncommon on the street. Here is photo of the bike and the kit that was stolen:

Sh####t!!!
Keep this towards the top of the thread for a bit. That'd be nice, wouldn't it? Just in case someone happens to come across this.

They probably don't know what they just got.

That setup probably costs just about as much as my car.

Probably worth more than my car. That sucks. Hope someone finds the jerk.

Man this is horrible! I never pack my car the night before or leave my gear over night just for this reason. I'm always super paranoid about something like this happening. Hopefully she gets most of her stuff back.

Will auto insurance or renter's/home owners insurance cover any of this?

Do you know what happened or are you speculating?

Pouring salt on an open wound?

So, what about the second part about dougland89 pouring salt on an open wound by calling her lazy?

It's a minor insult but an insult nonetheless.

I guess my point is that "lazy" is a very subjective insult. Especially when the only facts that are known are is that was stolen out of a car at night. dougland89 is being lazy for not gathering all of the facts instead of leaning on assumptions.

Now, if she waited til the morning of the trip (assuming there was a trip. The story still isn't known) to pack the car, then some might call her lazy for waiting till the last minute to pack. Then someone would say, "An industrious person would have packed the car the night before..."

Look, this isn't a "I left my bike unlocked for one second while I got a sandwich..." situation. This is burglary. Breaking and entering.
