Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Newbie question

hey all-

i'm interested in getting a fixed gear and I know this question has probably been asked over a million times to feel free to verbally abuse me after you answer this question.

for my first fixie what do you recommend for complete bikes? i'm looking for something that can be upgraded easily in the future and i'm not looking to commute 1000 miles on the thing. all i want to do is have some fun, try some tricks, and tool around town.

thanks for the input.
