Converting... Looking for Steerer tube size.

So I am converting my 84 schwinn Sprint, it's going well I picked up a number of parts. But I am looking at stem/bar setups and am not sure on the steerer tube sizing. Does anyone know what size stem i'll need in order to fit on the schwinn?
