Looking for buckles from double toe straps (new or used)

A friend of mine with leather working skilz agreed to try and make me a set of horsehide double toe straps. I'm looking for some buckles to use. I'd prefer to get some nice ones b/c there's no point in suing cheap buckles. Maybe someone's got a pair of trashed toshi's that they're willing to part with? Or maybe someone knows a supplier that sells the buckles? Steel, heavy duty, 2 rivet versions are especially desirable. If this works we might get a cottage industry going...
