Iridescent handlebar tape?

Does anyone know where I might be able to find pearl-ish/iridescent white handlebar tape?
I only know one company that does metallic looking ones and thats FUBAR, but I havent seen a white one from them.

If not I'm ok with white cloth bar tape (which is much easier to find). If you know of some good/inexpensive ones, let me know. Thanks guys

I saw some white cloth bar tape @ recycled for like 6$ a roll or something like that. Not too sure if it's one or two rolls to cover both sides of a handlebar tho.

Fizik makes white tape and it apparently cleans up nicely. I haven't tried it though. Not too mettalic looking.

If you're talking about:

https://www.benscycle.net/index.php?m...3&currency=USD

It looks really nice when you first put it on, but mine has gotten so dirty. Not worth the effort to clean imo. I'm probably just going to go back to black.

I use this stuff in white and it stays quite clean. It's not pearlescent or anything though.

The Fizik ones I got today are pretty similar to those, I hope they stay clean. But its white handlebar tape, what can ya expect, I know itll get dirty. I really thought an iridescent type existed somewhere.

fizik tape cleans easily (not the soft touch, though). water + a drop of dish soap.

i think the somewhat flat finish to the silver treasure tape would look sharp. however, i doubt theres a iridescent tape or metallic tape without wonky texture. that should trump all!

This stuff ive been using previously had weird texture but looked really cool. I thought maybe they made a white pearly one, which they dont.

Im sure I'll manage with the Fizik white tape. Ill keep the treasure tape in mind for the future, it looked comfy.

Yep that stuff is awesome, it was what was on my bike before. I got new everything this week, I realized my hub on my rear wheel was stripped among other annoyances. So now Im on the lookout for just as flashy bar tap but white/pearl.
They have that stuff in pink, just as shiny...but my bike is emerald green and white(oneangrytoast-maybe your ladys build might look good with the pink kind?)

Lol oh my bad, duh of course.

Ladies love tarck. It's true.

I just got all the new parts today, and spent most of the day at a friends shop putting everything back together. ugh.. I always feel like I havent "tightened" everything as good as I could. The "new" stuff is all emerald green. Ill post a pic on the pics thread in a bit, Im stoked on it. The Fizik white bartape worked out fine (although iridescent woulda looked awesome!)

Did you get the white fuzzy kind or the kind that's like all the other colors? I couldn't find any of the normal kind around here. The fuzzy white gets way too dirty way too fast for my taste. Cleaning blows.

How was the ride? Where'd you guys go?

That magic eraser stuff cleans white bar tape pretty awesomely. I use it on my fizik soft touch and it looks like new.

Too much work

I just replaced my fizik soft whites today with dedo blacks. If I woulda had the choice, it would have been fizik nonsoft blacks, but the LBS doesnt stock them nor the nonstop whites. Even the four packages of soft whites they had in the store were starting to grey just from people examining them. I suggested switching to nonsoft black/whites to someone working there and they just sorta shrugged it off. Oh well.

Ha, I didnt end up going because it took me 2 hours to reinstall everything on my bike, it was literally just my frame with everythinglaying on the ground. I got a new rear wheel, and had repainted a bunch of stuff for kicks (which turned out really nice, I think). This was the first time I have put together everything by myself, so naturally...I was like (holding up the crank and chainring)"uh...does it go on like this?"--********. My friend who owns the shop was having a laugh.

The Fizik tape I got feels like..rubbery...it's not cork, but it's not plastic? Im not sure what kind it was. It's some breathable material with the holes in it. Im not too worried about it, Im only partially wrapping my bars anyway, the rest is bare.

I heard it was a good pace to Golden Gardens, Im definitly doing it next week!
