Straight Fork

2 Attachment(s)
I am building a fixie, and have been searching for a straight, thick fork. Attached are some pictures that resemble what I am wanting. Where can I buy one of these (new or used)? Of course I have tried both eBay and CL, but they are asking too much (out of my price range). Thanks.

P.S. It can have some curve to it similar to the second picture (the black bike).

do you know if you want straight fork for appearance? or the ability to barspinz on the 'fixie?

sugarkane 06-07-09 03:36 AM

my bike has straight forks, not so good for bar spins and custom made so not so cheap

a lot of carbon forks are straight blade and there are some cheaper ones on ebay

What's your actual price range? You can get a Forte carbon fork from Performance for like $90.

also, what kind of material do you want (carbon, steel, aluminum?)

HELLOxFIXIE 06-07-09 10:45 AM

Bianchigirll 06-07-09 11:11 AM

what kind of crown does that chrome fork have and is drilled for a brake?

Astronomical 06-07-09 11:19 AM

lugged, it is drilled for a brake.

same as this one

but threaded.

operator 06-07-09 11:19 AM

Yeah let's not even bother determining whether it's threaded or threadless. Completely trivial matter though. Carry on.

dont straight forks give a stiffer ride than curved forks?
