Bad Shoes for Riding with Clips
There have been an absolute ton of threads about which shoes are good for riding with clips, but I have decided to start a thread with the opposite goal - to show which shoes not to get for riding with clips.
Please post name of shoe and reason why it is bad for riding with clips
Asics Courtstar - side pieces get caught under the straps, difficult to get into the clips because of this.

Sperry Topsiders. I have some and figured I'd clip in in my hallway. Damn those seams on the top are uncomfortable...

I only tried riding in skate shoes, because I was riding to a relatively close area to do some slalom skating practice, with my board on my back..

I don't understand people wearing dunks period, but I also don't understand all the neon, day-glo colors either.

On Topic: The slip-on vans that I longboarded in for a year. The soles are as close to holes whithout actual holes as you can get. They have zero support, basically like riding barefoot, but not. They do slide in my clips nicely though.

Any shoe where the top is thin/flimsy, if you're skidding anyways. Also Asics work fine for me, though I wear a different style.
