Is this fork crown defective?
Just received a new fork and it looks like part of the fork blade is "poking through" the crown. Is this merely a cosmetic issue, or does it mean the fork's faulty and should be returned? The part where the blade appears to be going through the crown is at the tip of the green arrow in the picture below.

Maybe I'm just missing something.....but that just looks like a paint chip to me....**********

is it affecting your ride? if it's not, f*ck it, it just looks like a tiny piece of metal.

I emailed the same pic to the shop and they were adamant that I stop riding the fork & return it. It was sent off yesterday.
