Converting *old* MTB - HELP THE NOOB
Hey. I'm converting an old (early 80s) Schwinn Mesa Runner to SS, and I want to put 700c wheels on it (they fit - seen it done on this make and model) and ditch the canti's for someting a little shorter-reach. The rear spacing on this old beast is 120mm. So could I actually get away with putting a plain ol' track (flip/flop) wheel on this thing? If so, what's kind of chainline measurement should I shoot for with one of these? Thanks for the help.
