Building a bike

What do you guys use in terms of grease & for what appilication? Can I use any okind of bike grease for pedal threads & seat posts, etc... or does it need to be anti-seize grease instead. If I buy a tube of the Phil grease can I use in on everything, including the bottom bracket?

I'm having a shop install the BB & Headset so they will be taken care of initially.

Thanks,
-john

generally speaking, there are two different types of grease you will need on a bike

Bearing grase (phil wood, park tool, etc) is what you use on pedal threads, BB, headset, seatpost, etc

Then there is chain lube which you use on chains. A tube of phil should last you a good while...same w/ some chain lube
