New frame
so i have been riding a leader 720tr for a while now, and am finally looking to buy one that fits. i was originally just going to buy a 725tr, but i'd like more options. what are your guys' opinions?
i'm trying to not spend a lot. so something around 200-300. i'd like to know the options (for cromo and alu) i have. also i need a frame that fits a threadless 1 1/8 fork. so i'm not really looking to buy a new fork as well, just the frame alone. thanks |
what type of riding do you do? do you like the alu frame?
I do love my IRO, but you said you don't need a fork. If you already have a nice fork, the IRO fork is kind of heavy anyway. |
i mostly do street riding. i guess i like the alu frame, but haven't really tried a cromo frame.

Just get a kilo frameset from bike island. Nice and cheap and pretty much the same as a lot of other FG framestet
|
i'm looking for frame alone, if you read my post.
dunno if i'd get a kilo, but their prices seem pretty good. |
Dude. If you read MY post, you would see I said kilo FRAMESET FROM BIKE ISLAND.

i don't want a frameset. i already have a nice fork i'd like to keep using.

i wanted to know if there were any other cheap frames other than leaders that don't come with a fork.
that's all. and i don't really want a kilo. i don't really like the clearance they have. so are there any other framesets that are as cheap as the kilo that have better clearance? (btw i'm not talking about barspin clearance. i don't care about that.) |
ok i've changed my mind.
i realized after riding my leader that i want to replace most of it, so i thought i might as well just buy a whole new bike or at least a frameset for now and sell the leader. better to have something that's comfortable and works well than something i'm gonna have to replace a bunch parts on. plus it's probably gonna be cheaper than replacing everything i want to replace. anyways, i was looking at the fuji track. any thoughts? |
